These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Nafakhum (the "Service"), a trip-cost splitting and travel planning tool. By using Nafakhum, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Nafakhum lets you create trips, add travelers, record expenses and deposits, calculate settle-up balances, and use related tools such as itineraries, manager invites, payment claims, and trip photos. Some features can be used without an account; others require you to sign up for a free account.

2. Your account

3. Trip content and data you provide

You keep ownership of the expenses, photos, receipts, and other content you add to a trip. By uploading content, you give Nafakhum permission to store and display it back to the travelers and managers you've added to that trip, so the tool can function.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Nafakhum to upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content, to misrepresent payments or balances, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

5. Payment claims and settle-ups

Nafakhum helps you track and calculate who owes what within a trip - it does not process, hold, or transfer money itself. Any actual payment between travelers happens outside the Service, and a manager approving a payment claim is only confirming that a payment was made, not guaranteeing it.

6. Disclaimers

Nafakhum is provided "as is." While we work to keep calculations, weather data, and travel-safety information accurate and up to date, we can't guarantee they're free of errors, and they shouldn't be your only source for safety-critical decisions.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Nafakhum isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including disputes between travelers over expenses or settle-ups.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Nafakhum after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
